Q.  How much do your cakes cost?

Many factors are involved in determining the cost of an Blue Pastry Box cake as every cake is customized to order and priced individually. Cake pricing incorporates many variables and specifics, such as the number of serving, the complexity of design and number of tiers.  Wedding cake servings range from $5.50-$13.00 range.

Q. Do you offer cake tastings?

Yes,  for wedding consultations, I offer a cake tasting to sample a selection of our delectable cake flavors and fillings for wedding cakes.

Q.  Do you have a retail store where I can walk in and purchase a cake or view your work?

​

Not yet!  We meet with clients from my office space or over the phone. I schedule appointments with clients to discuss your dream cake, which is dedicated time just for you.  You may also view our designs to preview work.

Q. Do you deliver and set up?

​

Yes, we deliver to your location/venue and setup your cake.  The delivery charge is $35.00 for 10miles away from our kitchen and $1.00 each mile afterwards.

Q.  How far in advance should I place my order?

​

     Clients are encouraged to schedule a consultation as soon as an event date has been set. Usually five-ten months out is ideal to  save your date for a wedding cake. Please inquire at any time and I will tell you our availability.  We are now reserving 2017-2018 weddings and weekends do fill up fast!  A 50% deposit is required to hold your date, 50% of the balance is due 2 weeks before your event date. 

Event cakes and cupcakes

For events and celebration cakes, three to four weeks in advance is all that is needed.

Q.  What if I order my wedding cake and it's less than two months away?

​

There is a rush fee of $125.00 if your wedding cake is ordered less than two months of your wedding day in addition to your wedding cake.

Q.  Are there gluten free?dietary options?

​

At this time , we do not offer any special dietary options. We are hoping to cater to this growing market in the future.

Q.  What do I need to bring to a cake consultation?

​

Bring anything that inspires you and that you would like to incorporate into your design.  That's things like invitations, picture of your wedding dress, colors, family crest, flower, theme, heirlooms, etc.
